Since the introduction of the veto right in Big Brother 3 In 2002, house guests who were about to be evicted used this opportunity to disappear from the block.
Winning the Veto Contest is the only surefire way for a candidate to ensure their own safety. Of course, they can try to get another player to use the Veto against them or canvass for votes before eviction night, but there is no greater relief for a candidate than having the golden Veto Power hung around their neck.
You’d have to be a little crazy to be nominated for eviction, gain the power of veto, and not use it against yourself, but six houseguests did just that.
Scroll down to see all Big Brother Player who did not use his veto power for himself while on the block.
