In a new post on the Fortnite Subreddit user Saintios11 asks the community about the best landing spot in the current season. While different players have their own preferences, several fans seem to agree that Doom’s Courtyard is one of the best landing spots in Fortnite. Players noted that there are two giant chests and a variety of smaller chests, making it a great place to gear up before heading to other popular locations nearby, such as Castle Doom. Additionally, many pointed out that the area is not that heavily populated by players unless it is in the path of the Battle Bus.

Another useful strategy shared by user Osprey6767 is to grab the loot from Doom’s Court and then head to Doomstadt. Doomstadt is currently a hot drop in the game, so it’s quite likely that by the time players loot Doom’s Court and head to Doomstadt, there will be significantly fewer players. With the stacked inventory, one would likely have an advantage over the players in Doomstadt. Not to forget, players can also get Mysterio’s Medallion in Doomstadt in Fortnite. Mysterio’s Medallion is one of the most controversial in the game, as some players find it useless while others have quite a bit of success with it. The invisibility feature can completely change the game and help players counter some of the myths.
While the landing spot is something that many players rely on, others stressed that it is after the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Update. Classy Courts was replaced by Doom’s Courtyard in the last update and fans noticed that the loot is significantly lower than before. However, the reduction in loot may have driven some players away from this location, making it less popular and improving the risk-reward ratio.
