SKIMS has made sure it will be the “talk talk” this summer by announcing Charli XCX as the face of its latest campaign. This is founder Kim Kardashian’s seal of approval for the brat Summer trend, because this summer’s It-Girl is in the spotlight and poses in the new cotton collection from SKIMS with the styles Cotton Rib and Cotton Fleece.
The collection dropped on Wednesday (August 21) at 12pm ET/9am PT and features a mix of Charli XCX-approved styles, including cotton boxer briefs, soft bralettes, and fleece sweatpants. Each design is crafted from SKIMS’ stretchy yet form-fitting fabric, but with added texture from ribbed and waffle materials.
Photographer Petra Collins shot the “360” singer for the athleisure brand’s campaign, featuring images of Charli XCX in a dreamy aesthetic, including the artist in the middle of a field while rain pours down, as well as the star holding puppies against a golden, peaceful backdrop.
