Get Cyberpunk 2077, Dying Light 2 and Starfield cheap in the huge sale

When I look back on the last decade of the video game industry, I have to smile. I entered this industry as Cyberpunk2077 came out four years ago and reviewed Dying Light 2 in 2022. Later that year, I cried my way through A Plague Tale: Requiem and finally took the plunge into the Soulslike world with Lies of P in 2023. The last few years in the video game industry have been damn good.

Every now and then, though, I regret never fully experiencing The Witcher 3, Remnant 2, or the original Baldur’s Gates – so many RPGs, so little time, and, frankly, so little money. The latter has been remedied, though, as a new Humble sale is slashing the prices of every game mentioned so far. Maybe I’ll finally play Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

Now I could wax lyrical about Cyberpunk, Fallout, Skyrim, Starfield, and various other deals, but I want to highlight a few personal favorites. Don’t worry, all the discounts on the big hits are listed a little further down, with Cyberpunk 2077’s base game down by 50% and Starfield down by 33% – the latter now also has cars, by the way.

First on Lauren’s list of must-buys is Plague Tale: Requiem. The sequel to 2020’s Innocence, our story centers on Amicia and Hugo, two siblings trapped in the heart of a plague-ridden 18th-century France. Following the events of the first game, the duo attempt to free Hugo from the mysterious Macula that continues to corrupt his body, but they must endure a lot of trouble to get there. In my review of Plague Tale: Requiem, I call it an “absolute blast to play,” so I seriously recommend you pick it up.

Next up is Atomic Heart, one of my personal favorites of 2023. While it isn’t without controversy and has some odd gameplay quirks, as someone who has a Masters in War Studies and is interested in alternate histories, I had a blast. Mundfish’s strange Soviet utopia is a feast for the eyes, and while some of the character designs are certainly a lot, The story is entertaining and exciting in equal measure. And the soundtrack is also amazing.

Other honorable mentions include anime games Code Vein, Scarlet Nexus, Tales of Arise, and site favorite Remnant 2, which Nat gave a solid 8/10 in our Remnant 2 review.
