Portland Restaurant opens new location on Rock Row in Westbrook

If you haven’t visited the Rock Row project in Westbrook recently, you’ve been missing out on a lot. Behind Market Basket and next to Cowbell is the outdoor gathering space known as Quarryside, which has been home to food trucks, live music, and more all summer long.

However, if you venture even further into the Rock Row area, you will see that great progress has been made in building the Rock Row Medical Campus. The medical campus will be a cornerstone of the complex, anchored by New England Cancer Specialists. There will also be an additional location for the Dempsey Center.

While the new building is being expanded and the finishing touches are being put on the parking garage, there is already another new detail about the medical campus: There will be a restaurant there.

According to Portland Food Map, it will be a second location for popular Portland eatery LB Kitchen. Many of the popular dishes that made LB Kitchen so popular will be offered as prepared meals at the small Westbrook cafe, but there will also be some new offerings.

These menu items are inspired by the nutritional recommendations of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. LB Kitchen hopes to provide good nutrition to patients at the cancer center, as well as resident staff, friends and family.

Rock Row LB Kitchen will also feature a coffee and espresso bar to keep everyone wide awake and caffeinated. LB Kitchen Westbrook is scheduled to open in January 2025.
