Pinwheel Provisions in Bryn Mawr is the place to go for healthy fast food, like paninis and ready meals.

Bryn Mawr’s Pinwheel Provisions is the place for healthy food on the go, reports Bob Kelly for Fox 29 Philadelphia.

Owner Anjali Gupta says: “Our mission is to make it easier for you to eat better at home.”

Pinwheel Provisions specializes in packaging healthy, ready-to-eat meals that you can take home and prepare with as little effort as possible. Their selection isn’t just limited to dinner. They serve breakfast and dessert, and their “Wich Way” sandwich bar offers the perfect lunch on the go.

A permanent part of the menu are the Pinwheel Toasties, their version of a panini.

According to Gupta, the Bryn Mawr restaurant focuses on locally sourced produce when they don’t make it themselves. One of their partners, Milk Jawn, is a Philadelphia-based ice cream brand with a cult following.

Their Fresh Frozens station offers frozen items that can easily be prepared at home for anyone looking to prepare a meal that isn’t on the menu.

Not all customers are in a hurry to get home or back to work, so Pinwheel offers customers a shaded area to eat right outside their Lancaster Ave. location.
