Duchess Meghan has arrived in Colombia for her four-day trip with Prince Harry, bringing with her a whole host of inspiring summer outfits. The Duchess, who has always preferred an upscale, minimalist wardrobe, presented three casual summer looks on her first day in the South American country.
For her and Harry’s morning engagements, which included a tea with Vice President Francia Márquez and a school visit, Meghan donned a business-casual ensemble that could easily go from the boardroom to the party. It was a Veronica Beard suit in deep navy, consisting of a collared vest with brown buttons and matching cropped straight-leg trousers. The top costs $598 on the brand’s website and the trousers cost $448.
Meghan completed her elegant ensemble with black suede pumps by Manolo Blahnik ($725), a white Loro Piana Loom 32 top handle handbag ($4,700) and black Ray-Ban sunglasses. Finally, the Duchess added a few dainty pieces of jewelry, including gold stud earrings and a dangling bracelet.
For the Sussexes’ next engagement of the day, where they enjoyed various music and dance numbers – and Meghan even did a bit of salsa dancing herself – the Duchess slipped into a stunning mauve-pink midi dress with gold embroidery by Johanna Ortiz. The piece, called the Anouk Navajo Weaver Jacquard Ankle Dress, retails for $2,150. Meghan paired the dress with brown Jimmy Choo kitten heel sandals ($875) and added even more glamour to the summery look with a Cartier Juste un Clou necklace ($13,400).
For her third and final event of the day, a summit on cybersecurity and the future of technology, Meghan slipped into a casual outfit consisting of an orange Victoria Beckham button-down blouse and silky copper La Ligne pants ($295). She completed the look with some cognac brown suede block heel sandals from Aquazzura ($795) and gold jewelry, including dangling earrings and her same Cartier necklace as before.
