The two-store brand Firehouse Pizza wants to gain a foothold nationwide through franchising

At Firehouse Pizzaa pizza can be a sandwich and a sandwich can be a pizza. Now, with two stores, the brand wants to roll out this menu model nationwide, but it will start at home and in the neighboring state.

Firehouse Pizza recently announced plans to expand its franchises in the United States, with the initial focus of efforts being on its home state and Tennessee.

The flagship location in Bowling Green opened in 2003. Three years later, Firehouse Pizza opened a second location in Morgantown. Today, the pizza chain aims to open new Firehouse Pizza locations from Kentucky to Tennessee and along the Southeastern coasts, according to founders Eric and Tosha Sublett.

“We believe our concept is perfect for vacation spots or coastal areas and works great as a hometown pizzeria,” they said in a joint statement. “After 21 years, we still work every day to create the best pizza experience possible. We have evolved our business to ensure that Firehouse Pizza’s diverse revenue streams will always generate revenue regardless of location or economic conditions.”

Some of the chain’s best-selling menu items include the Eric Sandwich, Firehouse Pizza’s best-seller, and the Wife Sandwich, which ranks second in sales.

“We make every sandwich into a pizza or a salad, meaning each of our sandwiches can be prepared in many different ways,” the Sublett team said. “This can help with both food allergies and weight loss. While most pizzerias add sandwiches to their lineup after years of business, we’ve done it from day one. All of our sandwiches, salads and pizzas have gone through the same refinement process over the past two decades.”

The Firehouse Pizza Franchise Opportunity comes complete with training, marketing material designs, established branding, relationships with key suppliers, ongoing operational support and more. Plus, this lifestyle is the dream many entrepreneurs aspire to, the Subletts said. “This is our life’s work. We take it very seriously – but what a life. Pizza. Beer. Ice cream. We live for it and love making people happy while they enjoy quality food prepared properly.”
