Xbox is quietly making it easier for you to get free credit

Now it’s easier than ever to apply for credit

A new change to Microsoft Rewards lets you earn points no matter where you are in the world, and users love it.

For a long time, if you were traveling and trying to complete your Microsoft Rewards challenges, you would not be allowed to do so until you got back to your starting point. Thankfully, this issue has been resolved.

Star Wars Outlaws is coming out in a few weeks. Check out GAMINGbible’s preview of the game below.

It was a weird issue from the start and it took a while to get fixed, but better late than never, right?

Now, if you’re out and about completing your daily sets for those awesome Microsoft Points, you can still collect and redeem them as usual.

In a Reddit thread, Microsoft Rewards users collectively praised the company for the change.

One said: “Microsoft finally gets a win? Let’s go,” and another shouted: “Sure, an absolute stroke of luck!!!”

Unfortunately, the change came a little too late for some users, with one user saying, “Of course this happens after I lose my 900-day streak.”

One user said it was “a little late for me. I live in California. I lost my streak when I went on vacation to Montana in 2019 and changed time zones, but wanted to keep up with my daily rewards activity. It’s nice that Microsoft is finally realizing that people don’t stay in the exact same place their entire lives.”

Nonetheless, this feature is now here and that’s the main thing, so you can travel the world without worrying about your precious rewards streak expiring while you’re away.

The change should hopefully also make it easier to earn points for these Xbox Store gift cards.
