“The game was 4-1 after the first game, so I’m not too happy with that,” Korpisalo said. “There were a few weird jumps but it was pretty hard to get back there. I just have to get better. It was 6-4. I’m not happy.”

NOTES: The Panthers announced after the game that they had signed forward Carter Verhaeghe to an eight-year contract. “As an adult, you’re just trying to make it to the NHL and find a place,” Verhaeghe said. “And I think being a Florida Panther for so long is a great honor for me.
