Gene Simmons gives some really bad reviews on DWTS

While most people dance With the stars Guest judges treat the participants, the KISS singer and the bassist gently Gene Simmons scored some shockingly low scores at Hair Metal Night.

Simmons, 75, was quite generous on the Tuesday, October 8 episode, giving the first cast members of the night Danny Amendola and partners Witney Carsona nine, while the other judges gave the duo sevens. He tried to give Brooks Nader And Gleb Savchenko the first 10 of the season, but he had already scored a nine so the score didn’t count.

However, as the evening progressed, Simmons surprised some of the artists with his low scores. After Jenn Tran After getting an eight from the other three judges, Simmons said “Don’t hate me” before giving her a seven.

The rock musician then passed on Phaedra Parks a five, while the other judges all gave her sevens. The crowd booed as Parks, 50, and her partner Val Chmerkovskiymade incredulous faces. Chandler Kinney She covered her mouth in shock before saying, “What’s going on?” Even co-host Julianne Hough couldn’t hide her disbelief.

“It’s a wild night tonight,” Hough, 36, said with a shrug. “Okay, well we can’t say it enough, you need to vote to save your favorites from double elimination tonight.”

Simmons’ results were all the more confusing because he gave no negative feedback to the 26-year-old Tran or Parks. He told Parks and Chmerkovskiy, 38, that he was “a big fan of the bad boy and bad girl dynamic” in their routine, telling Tran, “Not only are you beautiful, you deliver.”

Sometimes it was hard to tell what exactly was going on in Simmons’ head. He gave Stephen Nedoroscik an eight, but seemed confused by the 25-year-old Olympian’s breakdancing moves.
