Police officers were initially responding to a call regarding a street takeover at the intersection of Knott Avenue and Orange Avenue when a robbery call came in. The suspects fled the scene when officers arrived at the store.

Several members, mostly men, can be seen ransacking the store, climbing on counters, pushing shelves and throwing merchandise. The video also shows the crowd leaving the store with stolen items.

Some members filmed the robbery and laughed at the employee who had a bloody face. The employee suffered minor injuries including a bleeding nose.

In addition to goods, an unknown amount of cash was stolen from the cash registers. Police said the video, which was shared on Instagram, is now part of the investigation.

The robbery follows a series of separate flash mob-style robberies that targeted 7-Eleven stores throughout Southern California.

Anyone with information about the incident was asked to contact Orange County Crime Stoppers at 855-847-6227.
