Active Storm Warning – Hurricane Milton #9 The City of Cape Coral issued Hurricane Milton Flash Report #4 this morning.

As of 7 a.m., the city’s emergency call center is at level II, partially activated.

According to the National Weather Service Tampa Bay, weather conditions are:

Today:

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 81. East wind around 10 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half an inch are possible.

Tonight:

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 11pm, then isolated showers and thunderstorms after 11pm. Low around 74. Northeast wind 6 to 9 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half an inch are possible.

Tuesday:Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 83. Northeast wind 6 to 8 mph. The chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall totals between a quarter and half an inch are possible Tuesday Night:

Tropical storm conditions are possible, hurricane conditions are also possible. Scattered showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 75. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Wednesday:Hurricane conditions possible. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 85. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Wednesday evening:

Hurricane conditions possible. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm are likely before 2 a.m., then isolated showers and thunderstorms after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 77. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Thursday:

Scattered showers, mainly before 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 84. Windy, with a west-southwest wind 21 to 23 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Wind gusts could reach up to 39 miles per hour. The chance of precipitation is 40%.

Thursday evening:

Scattered showers before 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71. Windy, with a north wind 14 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. The chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday:
