Sunday Night Football broadcasters Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico suggested there were problems between two Cowboys stars during their win over the Steelers – but many fans have a different theory about what happened.

Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott was intercepted on a pass intended for wideout CeeDee Lamb late in the second quarter, and the two appeared to have a tense moment on the sideline afterward.

“It’s hard to explain when I’m just looking at the reporting – and there’s something wrong,” Collinsworth said. “CeeDee Lamb at the end.” I’ll let you read your own lips. At Dak. Dak doesn’t react at all. Doesn’t look good.’

“Not one bit,” Tirco added. “Not one bit.”

Some fans online theorized that Lamb had punished Prescott for making a “subpar throw.”

The sideline moment came after Prescott intercepted from the Pittsburgh 15-yard line, and the quarterback didn’t look up at the wide receiver as he addressed him.

However, there seemed to be more of a majority at X that Lamb actually encouraged his quarterback.

“Jump ball (number) four, jump ball, I got you!”, many believed when Lamb said.

That would certainly make sense, as Prescott and Lamb seemed to disagree during the second-quarter interception – in which the receiver was deeper in the end zone, but Prescott ran off a comeback route.

It was one of two picks Prescott threw in the game.

Other fans criticized Collinsworth for causing a stir, with one writing: “Yes Collinsworth said that because he had no idea what CeeDee said and none of us have any idea.”

Prescott recovered and threw a game-winning touchdown to Jalen Tolbert with 20 seconds left

Regardless, Prescott would dust himself off and ultimately lead the Cowboys to a 20-17 victory with just 20 seconds left.

Prescott hit receiver Jalen Tolbert for a four-yard touchdown on a fourth-and-goal to silence the Pittsburgh crowd and move Dallas to a 3-2 record.

Prescott threw for 352 yards and two scores, while Lamb had a quiet night by his standards, hauling in five catches for 62 yards.

Dallas hosts the Lions in a big NFC matchup this weekend.
