Arizona Athletics is proud to welcome you back for a second Year, the cast of the Road Trippin’ Podcast – former Wildcats Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye and co-host Allie Clifton. The famous DJ Mix Master Mike from the Beastie Boys will contribute to the atmosphere of the evening.

Doors to the McKale Center open at 4:30 p.m. and then at 5:20 p.m The annual Adaptive Athletics wheelchair basketball duel takes place on the court. This year is a special one for Adaptive Athletics, because they are celebrating their 50thTh year at university Arizona. During this period the program produced 51 Paralympiansincluding three medalists in Paris this summer.

Shortly before 6 p.m. the Pride of Arizona Pep Band and the Arizona Pomline and cheer teams will set the stage for the official unveiling of the 2024-25 Arizona men’s basketball team.

The new president of the University of Arizona, Dr. Suresh Garimella, is introduced to the crowd in advance Taco Bell 3-point competition and McDonald’s Slam Dunk Contest.

To cap off the evening in McKale, fans will get their first look at the team in action at the National Bank of Arizona Scrimmage. Players for the red team and the Blue The team will be announced on Friday.
