Ohio State football can now officially begin Oregon Week as five-game warmups are complete

“As you can imagine, it didn’t take long for us to focus on Oregon,” coach Ryan Day said after the game. “As we leave the rocker room today, our focus is that we start with Oregon.”

The Buckeyes will travel to the Pacific Northwest for a conference game later in the week, and due to conference realignment, it could be a preview of the Big Ten Championship Game.

“That’s one of the reasons you come to Ohio State – obviously the realignment of the conference helps,” left guard Donovan Jackson said after the game. “That’s how you play in these big games. We have great respect for this team.”

Ohio State and Oregon will each enter at 5-0, and both teams are more or less living up to expectations heading into the first games of the season.
