Football Availability Report: Nebraska vs. Rutgers

Nebraska football returned home for a homecoming game against Rutgers on Saturday afternoon. On a hot and windy day, the league released the availability reports for both teams.

The Big Ten Conference has required an availability report since 2023. The report is simple: Which players are out or questionable?

The Huskers are out kicker Tristan Alvano and offensive lineman Turner Corcoran. Alvano’s absence means John Hohl should return to field goal duties.

Linebacker Mohamed Toure, offensive lineman Emir Stinette and offensive lineman Bryan Felter are out for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Questionable are wide receiver Chris Long, defensive back Robert Longerbeam, Ian Strong, quarterback AJ Surace, defensive back Michael Dixon, wide receiver Naseim Brantley, running back Ja’shon Benjamin and offensive lineman Shedrick Rhodes.

Felter has been the starting left tackle all season and one of the Scarlet Knights’ best offensive linemen, rushing at 237 yards per game so far.

All availability reports can be found on BigTen.org.

Nebraska and Rutgers will kick off at 3:00 p.m. CDT. The game will be televised on FS1. The Huskers Radio Network provides radio coverage throughout the state.
