Fortnitemares 2024 | What can you expect from the Halloween event?

As Halloween approaches, a few things are guaranteed: stores will stock more candy, the days will get shorter, and Fortnite’s October Halloween Fortnitemares will appear in-game.

Below we explain everything we know about the event so far. It was already teased as part of the game’s latest update.

Fortnite is known for having a lot of licensed skins, and from what we’ve seen so far, they have some gems in store for all fans of classic horror.

Undoubtedly, previously released skins, like the Xenomorph, will also return to the store.

When will Fortnitemares 2024 take place?

No official starting point for Fortnitemares has been announced yet; However, it will be this month. Popular leaker HYPEX has stated that the event start date will be between October 11th and 15th, which is consistent with previous years.

That makes sense, since there will soon be a live event on the topic of “Dr. Doom” comes into play and starting after the start of this event means the two won’t get in each other’s way.

What can you expect from Fortnitemares 2024?

So far, there isn’t too much to do outside of the skins, as mentioned above. The teased skins are:

• Marshmello (scary version)
• Leatherface
• The doll from SAW

This is also related to the SAW event, which will be released at the same time.

The event was leaked to introduce a new mythical item, a Boom Billy Bike that chases opponents and explodes on impact. New link quests will also be introduced.

Rumors also suggest that Horde mode could return to the game, but there’s nothing concrete to confirm this – if it actually arrives, it would be a welcome addition.
