Local Life on ABC Columbia presented by MUSC Health

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – In today’s look at Local Living, the South Carolina State Museum is hosting a college night.

USC students receive free general admission and college students from other institutions receive discounted general admission.

Planetarium laser shows and 4D movies are an additional $3 each for all students and are available on a first come, first served basis.

The event takes place on Thursday, October. 3, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m

Cayce Fall Fest returns this weekend.

You and the family can enjoy live music, food, face painting, a petting zoo and more.

It will take place on Saturday October 5th from 12pm to 6pm at Granby Gardens Park.

The event is free and open to the public.

Columbia Mayor Daniel Rickenmann is hosting the annual Isabel Law Breast Cancer Breakfast this Friday, October 4th.

It’s from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at City Hall on Main Street.

Tickets are $15. Proceeds will be used to fund an innovative 3D mammography imaging unit for the Prisma Health Parkridge campus.

You can pick up your tickets at City Hall or the Payment Center on Harden Street.

There’s still time to snag tickets to see R&B legends Tamia and Joe at Colonial Life Arena this Friday, October 4th.

The show starts at 8 p.m. and doors open at 7 p.m

Tamia will perform some of her biggest hits such as “Stranger in my house” and “So into you”.

And Joe will sing some of his big hits like “I Wanna Know” and “Stutter.”
