Summer Restaurant Week starts today

The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) Summer Restaurant Week kicks off today, August 12. One of the most highly anticipated food programs in the DMV area, Restaurant Week runs through Friday, August 18, inviting community members to explore participating restaurants.

The biennial event takes place once in the summer and once in the winter and offers deals on three-course lunch and brunch menus for $25 and dinners for $40 and $55. Interested parties can see a full list of options here.

According to RAMW, 90% of diners surveyed during Restaurant Week say they are likely to return to their favorite restaurant.

“I’m thrilled to once again be a part of a restaurant week in our beautiful region,” said RAMW President and CEO Shawn Townsend. “We have something for everyone at a variety of price points and also a number of new restaurant participants and recent winners of (this year’s) RAMMY Awards.”

RAMW is a regional trade association representing restaurants and the hospitality industry in the DMV area. It also hosts the RAMMY Awards, which recognize outstanding talent and achievements by individuals and organizations within the Washington, DC restaurant and hospitality industry.
