The Cookie Lady from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” closes her shop

The Cookie Lady was a prominent part of the 12th season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta”.

“A Haute Cookie” has officially cooled down. The owner of the bakery, known as the “Cookie Lady” on The Real Housewives of Atlantaannounced its closure in the city.

The “Cookie Lady,” whose real name is Shiana White, shared the bad news on social media.

“I want to let everyone know that as of today, A Haute Cookie is officially closed here in Atlanta. You can’t order anything anymore. We’re pausing everything to keep going, but as of now, Atlanta has run its course,” White explained. “I’m super grateful to all of you, the people, businesses, companies, movie sets. All the love you’ve shown me since day one.”

As for her claim to fame in reality TV, the “Cookie Lady” first appeared in season 12 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Former cast member Kenya Moore introduced White to the show because White’s bakery was next to the wine cellar of another cast member, Cynthia Bailey.

However, White’s presence on the show was not always pleasant. According to The Jasmine brandWhite became embroiled in drama surrounding another cast member, Tanya Sams. White accused Sams’s partner of flirting with her at a nightclub. The confrontation with “The Cookie Lady” became a plot point for the season.

While White remains entrenched in reality show history as “The Cookie Lady,” her business that earned her the nickname no longer exists. Still, the business owner who brought luxury baked goods to Atlanta has “other places to go,” meaning her time as a dough-spinner may not be over.

White added: “Thank you for allowing me and my family to be in this wonderful situation. However, doors close. People move on, I have other goals in life. But I am so grateful for this journey, it has been so beautiful.”
