The series, a spinoff of the original “Power,” follows Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.) after he kills his father Ghost, a prominent drug dealer and politician. Since premiering in 2020, fans have watched Tariq try to take on the drug business to survive while also trying to be a successful student at Stansfield University.

Although fans are disappointed that it is the final season, Rainey said in an interview with USA TODAY last month that it was “all in God’s timing.”
