Trump fires off a tirade with more than 40 posts on Truth Social during the vice presidential debate

Donald Trump delivered his own minute-by-minute recordings of Tuesday night’s vice presidential debate, with several trademark statements in all caps and scathing, personal attacks on Gov. Tim Walz.

The former president made several posts in quick succession on his Truth Social platform, responding to responses from Walz, the Democratic vice presidential candidate, that he branded “complete nonsense!”

During the CBS debate, both Walz and Trump’s Vice President JD Vance were asked about current issues such as abortion, the economy, immigration and gun control.

“Why doesn’t Walz answer the question about his LIES?” Trump raged about 45 minutes later. “He talks a lot, but it’s all complete nonsense!”

Later, hyping his vice president, he added: “JD Vance just DESTROYED Tampon Tim with the FACTS. America was great when I was president, and we will make America great again after we win on November 5th!”

“Tampon Tim” is Trump’s vulgar nickname for Walz, referring to his stance on access to women’s reproductive health care.

After Vance came under fire for Trump’s stance on abortion, the former president wrote: “Everyone knows that I would not support a federal abortion ban under any circumstances and would in fact veto it because it is up to the states to decide.” Based on the will of their voters (the will of the people!)”

At one point, Vance himself appeared to become angry after being corrected for statements about Haitian migrants, which resulted in the debate’s microphones being turned off.

Trump and Vance have both previously made unsubstantiated claims that Haitian migrants in the city of Springfield were eating residents’ pets.

CBS anchor Margaret Brennan said, “Just to be clear to our viewers, there are a large number of Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio who have legal status and temporary protected status.”

Vance replied, “Margaret, the rules said you wouldn’t fact check, and since you’re checking me, I think it’s important to say what’s going on.”

He then explained the process by which illegal migrants could apply for asylum and legal status in the United States, after which his words became inaudible.

Brennan then said, “Gentlemen, the audience cannot hear you because your microphones are turned off. We have so much planned that we want to achieve. Thank you for explaining the legal process.”

Back at Truth Social, Trump was also angry. “Margaret Brennan just lied again about the ILLEGAL MIGRANTS Lyin’ Kamala Harris has allowed into our country, and then she turned off JD’s microphone to stop him from correcting her!”

Later, after Walz answered a question about gun control, Trump wrote, “Did Tampon Tim just say he ‘became friends with school shooters’?” He is not even qualified to be governor, let alone vice president. Walz and Kamala don’t have what it takes!”

Combining the two topics, he later wrote: “‘Border Czar’ Kamala has allowed millions of illegal weapons into our country. She is a DANGER to our children and our schools!”
