Cross Canadian Ragweed to Reunite, Play Show in Oklahoma

The rumors are true. Legendary Red Dirt band Cross Canadian Ragweed is reuniting and will play a show with fellow Oklahoma legends the Turnpike Troubadours at T Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, OK on April 12, 2025. Dead on Monday afternoon/evening (9-30am) before it spread like wildfire across the internet. It comes as Cross Canadian Ragweed announced a reveal in recent weeks.

The Great Divide, Jason Boland and the Stragglers and Stoney LaRue will also perform the stadium show titled “The Boys From Oklahoma.” Pre-sales begin October 7th and public sales begin October 11th.

The original source of the leak appears to be the Tik Tok handle @geoffinok. After they posted a picture of the poster on Tik-Tok, it was screenshotted and shared on Facebook. At the time of this post, a Facebook user had over 800 shares of the poster on Facebook. Saving Country Music was then able to confirm the authenticity of the information.

There is currently no confirmation as to whether the show will lead to additional shows or new music, although some of that information may be revealed in an “exclusive” feature on Cross Canadian Ragweed airing Tuesday morning (10:10 a.m.). However, Saving Country Music has learned through sources that more performances from the reunited version of the band may be forthcoming.

In early September, Cross Canadian Ragweed began publishing cryptic posts on their website and social media that looked like their logo wrapped in red cloth and “2025.” It was the first sign of life we ​​saw from the band after they officially broke up in 2010. The band’s most legendary lineup included Cody Canada (lead guitar/vocals), Randy Ragsdale (drums) and Grady Cross (guitar). , and Jeremy Plato (bass).

Cody Canada currently fronts the band Cody Canada and the Departed with Jeremy Plato, who have added other Cross Canadian Ragweed songs to their repertoire over time.
