John Daly Reveals Big Secret About ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ | Golf news and tour information

The Happy Gilmore 2 news keeps coming in and it just keeps getting better for golf fans. From open casting calls to cameo appearances from Travis Kelce and Bad Bunny to viral videos of Adam Sandler’s iconic character lugging a set of golf clubs out of a house in a bathrobe, things are progressing well. And now we’ve learned that we may not have to wait much longer for this long-awaited sequel.

That’s because John Daly has confirmed he’s also making a cameo. And he also revealed that the film will be released on Netflix in March or April.

In a video with Outkick’s Mike Gunzelman, Daly is asked if Sandler has been in touch with him.

“I’ve already filmed it, we’ll get there,” replied the two-time major champion. He then made a “shh” sign and added, “It’s coming out on Netflix maybe in March or April next year.”

Interesting. Christopher McDonald, aka Gunman McGavin, has already been forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement after talking too much. And now Daly could be next.

On the one hand, this is certainly amazing news. On the other hand, we don’t want them to rush it! Heck, we’ve already waited almost three decades for a sequel. We can wait a little longer. Anyway, thanks for the tip, JD.
