How the former Arizona Wildcats fared in Week 4 of the NFL season

Week 4 of the NFL season has concluded. Here’s how the former Arizona Wildcats fared in the league.

Nick Folk, K, Tennessee Titans

Folk went a perfect 5-for-5 on field goal conversions Monday night, leading the Titans to a 31-12 victory over the Miami Dolphins.

Folk made field goals from 29, 47, 51, 52 and 53 yards. He became the oldest kicker in NFL history to make three field goals of more than 50 yards in a game.

Folk, 39, has made 389 career field goals, which ranks 17th all-time in NFL history and fourth-most among active players.

Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles, LB, San Francisco 49ers

Flannigan-Fowles played 46 defensive snaps for the 49ers in their 30-13 win over the Los Angeles Rams. According to Pro Football Focus, he earned a grade of 47.4, the second-worst of all San Francisco defensive players. Flannigan-Fowles also played 13 snaps on defense and earned a 65.1 grade on that side of the field.

JJ Taylor, RB, Houston Texans

Taylor had six carries for 18 yards in the Texans’ 24-20 win over Jacksonville. Even though Taylor hasn’t been particularly productive, it’s a good sign that his number of carries has increased dramatically from last week (one).

Roy Lopez, DL, Arizona Cardinals

Lopez was part of a Cardinals defensive unit that was attacked by the Washington Commanders in a 42-14 loss. According to PFF, Lopez recorded five tackles in the game but had a poor grade of 50.9.

Christian Roland-Wallace, ST, Kansas City Chiefs

Roland-Wallace is carving out a solid role on the Chiefs’ special forces unit, where he played 12 snaps in Sunday’s 17-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Jacob Cowing, WR, San Francisco 49ers

Cowing played four offensive snaps for San Francisco but did not receive any passes.
