Air strikes on the port of Hodeida in Yemen

There are reports of an airstrike on the Red Sea port city Hodeida in Yemen. Reuters reports that fuel tanks were hit.

Hodeidah, which has been under Houthi control since 2021, is crucial to supplying food and other essentials to the Yemeni population, which relies on imports. In response to Israel’s ongoing attack on Gaza, the Iran-backed Houthis have fired missiles and drones at Israel, disrupting global trade across the Red Sea.
