Inactive Fantasy Football Week 4: Who’s in and who’s out?

Who should you start with? Who should you sit on? To help you set your fantasy football lineups and avoid using an offensive player who won’t be in the lineup, we’ll be posting fantasy-related updates and analysis here as NFL teams release their official inactive lists . All rankings cited in this column come from our ESPN Fantasy staff.

Official Sunday inactives should arrive approximately 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff times: approximately 11:30 a.m. ET for early games and 2:30 p.m. ET for late afternoon games.

Update regularly to get the latest information.

Play at 1 p.m. ET

Diontae Johnson, WR, CAR: groin area – Questionable
Impact: Expected to play alongside Xavier Legette and Jonathan Mingo. Adam Thielen (hamstring injury) was placed on IR earlier this week.

Keenan Allen, WR, CHI: Heel — Questionable
Impact: Rome Odunze (hip) has been cleared to play and chances are Allen will join him in the huddle.

Jordan Love, QB, GB: Knee — Questionable
Impact: He will play. Nevertheless, the Packers could end up pursuing a game-intensive schedule.

Dameon Pierce, RB, HOU: Hamstring – OUT OF
Impact: Cam Akers should once again take over the majority of the backfield duties here.

Joe Mixon, RB, HOU: Ankle — OUT OF
Impact: Reports are coming in that Mixon tested his ankle this morning and the team decided not to risk it. Dare Ogunbowale has some deep sleep value.

Tank Dell, WR, HOU: Breast — OUT OF
Impact: It’s Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs for the Texans.

Evan Engram, TE, JAX: Hamstring – OUT OF
Impact: Brenton Strange could be good for two to three catches in his absence.

Gabe Davis, WR, JAX: shoulder — Questionable
Impact: He’ll likely play – as far as the No. 3 WR on the Jaguars’ offense can be trusted these days.

Davis Allen, TE, LAR: Back — Questionable
Impact: Colby Parkinson only saw five targets last week with Allen out.

Cooper Kupp, WR, LAR: Ankle — OUT OF
Impact: With a bye in Week 6, it wouldn’t be shocking if Kupp were out next week as well.

Alvin Kamara, RB, NO: Hip — Questionable
Impact: It increased over the week, so we assume it will start.

Chris Olave, WR, NO: Hamstring – Questionable
Impact: Friday’s injury doesn’t bode well, but we expect he will at least try to play. Mason Tipton might get a few extra looks…

Cedrick Wilson Jr., WR, NO: Ankle — Questionable
Impact: …with Bub Means also in the mix, Wilson shouldn’t be able to play. AT Perry (hamstring injury) has already been ruled out.

AJ Brown, WR, PHI: Hamstring – OUT OF
Impact: A practice on Friday opened the window for optimism, but he’s not ready yet. Jahan Dotson and Johnny Wilson were the only healthy Eagles WR options on the roster Friday.

DeVonta Smith, WR, PHI: concussion — OUT OF
Impact: Expect TE Dallas Goedert to continue to see a ton of targets. WRs Parris Campbell and John Ross were both called up from the practice squad on Saturday.

Russell Wilson, QB, PIT: Calf — Questionable
Impact: The story remains the same: Justin Fields should start, with Wilson as the emergency No. 3.

Jaylen Warren, RB, PIT: Knee — OUT OF
Impact: Najee Harris will have a heavy workload, with Cordarrelle Patterson potentially in line for a few touches.

Rachaad White, RB, TB: illness — Questionable
Impact: Added to Saturday’s injury report for food poisoning. He is expected to be well enough to play.

Bucky Irving, RB, TB: Hamstring – Questionable
Impact: He is also expected to play, but his potential workload will change until we know for sure what White’s status is.

Jalen McMillan, WR, TB: Hamstring – Doubtful
Impact: Trey Palmer will fill the gap for him as Kameron Johnson (ankle) is questionable.

4 p.m. ET games

Trey McBride, TE, ARI: concussion — OUT OF
Impact: WR Michael Wilson could be the biggest beneficiary here, although TE Elijah Higgins will “replace” McBride in the group.

Pierre Strong Jr., RB, CLE: Hamstring – OUT OF
Impact: D’Onta Foreman will retire behind Jerome Ford (knee).

David Njoku, TE, CLE: Ankle — OUT OF
Impact: Jordan Akins gets the starting nod for the Browns, but there’s no reason for fantasy managers to do the same.

Justin Herbert, QB, LAC: Ankle — Questionable
Impact: All signs point to him starting this game, but who knows if he’ll make it?

Michael Mayer, TE, LV: Personal – OUT OF
Impact: There are even more reasons to like Brock Bowers this week.

Davante Adams, WR, LV: Hamstring – OUT OF
Impact: Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker recorded slight increases in value.

Deebo Samuel Sr., WR, SF: Calf — Questionable
Impact: He is currently expected to play, as is TE George Kittle (hamstring), who was removed from the injury report on Friday.

Austin Ekeler, RB, WAR: concussion — OUT OF
Impact: Jeremy McNichols could see some passing work, but Brian Robinson Jr. will likely handle the bulk of the RB work.

Game on Sunday evening

Neither the Bills nor the Ravens have any significant, fantasy-relevant injuries.
