Jenna Dewan seemingly marks Channing Tatum’s divorce with meme

Jenna Dewan found a cheeky way to celebrate her divorce from fellow actor Channing Tatum.

The former celebrity couple finally finalized their divorce on Wednesday, September 25, six years after Dewan first filed to end his marriage. The next day, Dewan shared a photo of actress Nicole Kidman celebrating on her Instagram Stories, which multiple publications say is often used as a meme.

The picture of Kidman, which allegedly shows the actress leaving her law office, was taken around the time she finalized her divorce from Tom Cruise.

Dewan also shared a carousel of photos on Instagram on Wednesday capturing various moments of her enjoying time with her family. She is now engaged to actor Steve Kazee. The couple has two children together.

“Thank you universe,” Dewan captioned the post.

Tatum has since been in a relationship with actress and director Zoë Kravitz. Last year it was announced that the two got engaged.

Dewan and Tatum met as co-stars in the 2006 film Step Up. They married three years later and had a daughter, Everly.

Both actors have spoken publicly about what it was like going through a headline-making divorce.

During an interview with Vanity Fair in 2023, Tatum said that her first breakup was “super scary and terrifying.”

“Your life just revolves on its axis,” he said at the time. “This whole plan that you had literally turns to sand and slips through your fingers and you’re just like, ‘Oh, shit.’ What now?'”

Dewan told Romper earlier this year that co-parenting with Tatum is “always a journey.”

“It never ends,” she said. “You just learn as you go and get better at certain things, and for me Evie will always be a top priority. I always put her first. This way I can handle all difficult things.”
