SF Giants News: Giants promotions this weekend

Good morning, baseball fans!

The San Francisco Giants begin their final series of the year tonight against the visiting St. Louis Cardinals.

As insanely frustrating as this team can be at times, I know we’ll all be missing them in a few weeks as we sit around the (probably) lukewarm stove counting down the days until spring training begins.

If you’re heading to the park this weekend to play your last baseball game of the year, here’s what you should know.

Be sure to arrive early for Friday night’s game as the Willie Mac Awards ceremony will take place before the game. As the highlight of each season, fans can expect a long list of Forever Giants to be in attendance for the festivities. Fans should plan to be in their seats by 6:45 p.m. to watch.

The rest of the weekend will be dedicated to Fan Appreciation Weekend. They’re not revealing too many details at this point, but the site says fans can expect lots of “exciting surprises,” so take from that what you will.

Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy every last bit of baseball while you can. See you on the other side.

What time do the Giants play this weekend?

The Giants and Cardinals play Friday night at 7:15 p.m., Saturday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 12:05 p.m. (all games start at the same time on Sunday).
