Shohei Ohtani celebrates NL West title with decoy and champagne

Shohei Ohtani punched his ticket to the playoffs for the first time in his career … and the Japanese superstar celebrated like that on Thursday – celebrating the moment after winning the NL West championship with his Dodger teammates, his wife and his sweet puppy.

Los Angeles secured its 11th division title in 12 seasons after a 7-2 victory over the San Diego Padres … and after taking some family selfies Mamiko and Decoy, it was time to take an alcohol shower with the troops.

It was the first locker room party of Ohtani’s career — he never participated in the postseason during his six seasons with the Angels — so of course he committed a party foul by not wearing goggles at the boozy bash.

It’s been a huge season for the $700 million man – he became the first player to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases in a season… and now he’s set to make his debut in October.
