CeeDee Lamb: Thursday night was a good one for us, one we needed

Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was in a much different situation Thursday than he was last Sunday when the Cowboys played the Ravens.

Lamb exploded on the sideline during the loss to Baltimore, wearing all the frustration of a second straight loss on his face when cameras spotted him on the sideline. lamb apologized for not having a better handle on his emotions despite a rocky start to the season, but he didn’t have to do that after playing against the Giants on Thursday.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott found Lamb several times early in the game, and the wideout broke free for a 55-yard score in the second quarter. Lamb finished the night with seven catches for 98 yards in a 20-15 win, which he and the Cowboys needed after a rough few weeks.

“It’s obviously more fun here,” Lamb said via the team’s website. “I mean, when you lose two games in a row, you kind of get into a phase where everyone is kind of tense. and you’re ready to play again and kind of get it over with. It was good for us. . . Was what we needed. The division game put us in the right position.”

The bleeding stopped for the Cowboys on Thursday night. The next challenge will be putting together several successful weeks, otherwise the same frustrations and questions will arise again in Dallas.
