Prime Day is back – the biennial shopping event (this time known as Prime Big Deal Days) takes place on October 8th and 9th and Amazon is already offering discounts on tons of products across all categories. One category you probably wouldn’t expect to see many deals in is books, but that’s exactly what we’re seeing on the Amazon website right now. (Amazon did Start as an online bookstore, so it kind of makes sense.)

We’ve found loads of book titles currently on sale across a range of genres, from best-selling novels to non-fiction and children’s books. Kindle and e-book editions are up to 80% off standard list prices, while hardcover and paperback editions are up to 50% off. And that is before the official start of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days.
