Open Thread on Thursday Night Football: Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants

Hello, good evening and welcome to week four of the NFL season.

Unfortunately, with the same three people opting for prime time, we’re stuck with another boring and unsavory NFC East battle. Tonight the (Kitten) Kickers from southern Oklahoma travel to the big city (because Dallas wouldn’t know what a big city is) to take on the New York Giants. In New Jersey.

They would play in New York, but that would mean the Cowboys fans are in New York, and no one wants that, not New York, not the Cowboys fans (who still wonder how airplanes work), no one .

So let’s get down to business and tell you how you can watch today’s game if you dare.

WHO: Dallas (citation needed) Cowboys (1-2) vs. New York Giants (1-2)

What: Thursday Night Football

Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ

When: Thursday, September 19, 7:20 p.m. (CDT).

Why: Because honestly, I’m surprised it took them this long to get to another NFC Least Prime Time game. Seriously, four weeks has to be some kind of record for these people, right?

Channel: None

Streaming: Amazon Prime, NFL+

And if you feel like making this game a little more interesting, here are my tips for today’s game from FanDuel.

Ugh, when it comes to my picks tonight, that’s just plain hate speech. (Kitten) the Cowboys, but that 5.5 point spread makes me want to pick the Giants, which is stupid. But I’m stupid and make bad decisions. The Cowboys suck too, but the Giants are super crap, so I think Dallas wins this game handily (by their standards, not in any meaningful way) and it’s a primetime NFC East game. There will be no points. At least not much.

Anyway, have fun playing the game. Things get weird and ugly.

Go Texan!
