The Phoenix Suns have signed Frank Kaminsky, Priority Sports tweeted Wednesday afternoon.

Kaminsky, 31, who previously played for the team, has agreed to a training camp contract, Priority Sports confirmed to The Arizona Republic.

The 7-footer from Wisconsin averaged 8.2 points on 46.8% shooting and 4.3 rebounds in three seasons with the Suns (2019-22). Kaminsky played just nine games in his final season with Phoenix in 2021-22 as he missed 67 straight games due to a right knee injury before being sidelined near the end of the regular season.

He averaged 10.6 points on a career-high 54.5% shooting from the field this season.

Kaminsky last played in the NBA for the Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks in 2022-23, averaging a career-low 2.5 points in a total of 36 games between the two teams. He played in Serbia last season.

The Suns open training camp on October 1 at the team’s practice facility. They begin the 2024-25 regular season on October 23rd at the Los Angeles Clippers.
