The Foo Fighters have canceled their appearance at this weekend’s Soundside Music Festival, just two days before they were scheduled to headline the festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Soundside quickly replaced the Foo Fighters and hired Jack White and Greta Van Fleet as Saturday night headliners. White will be hopping from Connecticut to Oregon in one day in the middle of his no-name tour, as he’s booked in Portland the following evening on September 30th.

The Foo Fighters’ soundside gig was supposed to be the band’s first performance since Dave Grohl announced he had become the father of an illegitimate child. “I recently became a father to a new daughter who was born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her,” Grohl said on social media on September 10.
