PlayStation Plus announces one last free game for September

What a month-end

PlayStation has announced the final free game coming to PlayStation Plus subscribers in September, and we have to say, it’s a banger.

The State Of Play event has just ended, giving us a taste of what is to come from PlayStation in the next few months, including a remastered Horizon Zero Dawn, free Astro Bot DLC and our very first look at the next Ghost Of Tsushima game, it was all very exciting.

Check out the trailer for the next Ghost Of Tsushima game below, it really is on another level

The next PlayStation Plus games to be included in the lineup were also announced, including three great games and two classics for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers.

Forget all that, because PlayStation has surprisingly announced a fourth game, one of the best games currently available on PS5. The Last of Us Part 1.

This is the remake of the PlayStation 4 remaster and is being offered in full to subscribers to celebrate The Last Of Us Day.

Previously, the game could be played as a trial version for a few hours, now you can enjoy it from start to finish at no additional cost.

If you haven’t played it yet and you own a PS5, I would highly recommend you give it a try because even if the gameplay doesn’t immediately excite you, the story is more than enough to keep you hooked until the end.

Who knows, if you like it, you can always move on to the slightly controversial sequel or the live-action adaptation, the second season of which is soon in full swing.

The Last of Us Part 1 is coming to PlayStation Plus towards the end of the month and is a must-play for anyone who hasn’t finished it yet, especially since it will be virtually free.
