Who will Joan choose on “The Golden Bachelorette”? Fans have theories

play

Joan Vassos continues her search for Mr. Right as the first “Golden Bachelorette.”

Vassos, a 61-year-old private school administrator from Rockville, Maryland, competed for Gerry Turner’s rose on the first season of “The Golden Bachelor.” Now Vassos is the first lead of “The Golden Bachelorette,” entertaining a pool of 24 men from across America.

Although Vassos’ search for true love has only just begun, fans already have theories about the winner.

Who will receive Vassos’ final rose? This is what the internet says. Warning: Spoilers and theories ahead!

Who will Joan choose on “The Golden Bachelorette”?

Steve Carbone, also known as “Reality Steve,” is a well-known TV and Bachelor Nation blogger. He posted spoilers for Vassos’ Golden Bachelorette season and revealed the names of the final four contestants and the winner.

According to his post, Vassos is taking these four men on dates in his hometown this season:

  • Jordan Hellera 61-year-old senior sales manager from Chicago.
  • Jean-Pierre Ganserta 66-year-old emergency room physician from Reno, Nevada.
  • Chock Chapplea 60-year-old insurance executive from Wichita, Kansas.
  • Pascal Ibguia 69-year-old salon owner from Chicago.

Carbone originally reported that Vassos broke up with Heller after the hometown dates and with Chapple during the overnight dates, leaving Gansert and Ibgui as the final two contestants. However, the reality TV expert has since changed his prediction, according to a Sept. 18 Instagram post.

According to Carbone’s new post, Gansert appears to have been eliminated instead, leaving Ibgui and Chapple as the last two contenders. Ibgui then eliminates himself because he is not in love with Vassos, leaving Chock Chapple as the last survivor.

The blogger says the two are still together, but he doesn’t know if they are engaged.

Carbone’s theories have been proven right (and wrong) in the past. In November, he claimed that Joey Graziadei would get engaged to 25-year-old Daisy Kent, an account manager from Becker, Minnesota, during the final season of “The Bachelor.”

However, in an Instagram post from February, the blogger claimed that his sources were wrong and that Graziadei was actually engaged to Kelsey Anderson – to whom the “Bachelor” had actually proposed in the season finale.

Carbone also correctly predicted on the final season of The Bachelorette that Jenn Trann would choose 28-year-old Devin Strader, a trucking company owner from Houston, Texas. He later correctly reported on September 3 that Devin and Jenn had since split up.

Who is Chock Chapple from “The Golden Bachelorette”?

According to his ABC biography, Chapple is “friendly, loves adventure and has had a successful career as a business owner.”

When he’s not working, Chapple spends time with his children and his black Labrador, Super Tubbs, plays sports and cheers on the Kansas City Chiefs. His secret hobby is shopping and he is a self-proclaimed grill master.

He also once went on a nighttime shark dive in Australia and hopes that the Chevy Camaro with T-top will “make a comeback.”

Chapple’s biography states that the 60-year-old is an absolute “relationship guy” and is looking forward to “finding the spark again”.

When is the finale of “The Golden Bachelorette”?

The finale of “The Golden Bachelorette” has not yet been announced. “The Bachelor” franchise typically has nine to 13 episodes per season, USA TODAY reports. “The Golden Bachelor” had nine episodes, followed by a special wedding episode that aired just over a month after the finale.

If this season is nine episodes long, the finale could air November 13th.

Where can you watch “The Golden Bachelorette”?

“The Golden Bachelorette” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET. Watch on ABC or stream the next day on Hulu. You can also watch live on any streaming platform with live TV capability.
