Arena security staff speaks to tweeting fan after Caitlin Clark complains

Things got pretty heated during the first half of Wednesday’s game between the Indiana Fever and the Connecticut Sun, and some of the animosity seemed to have spilled over into the stands.

During the first quarter, Caitlin Clark appeared to be chatting with a fan in the front row. After a while, Clark was seen talking to an official, who then alerted stadium security and showed the person Clark had been arguing with.

Security could then be seen approaching the man and escorting him out of the courtroom. However, he was seen returning to his seat a short time later.

It’s not clear what was said between Clark and the fan at Mohegan Sun Arena, but it appeared to go on long enough that the rookie point guard asked for help from the referees, who then took care of the situation.

Meanwhile, Clark and Sun forward Dewanna Bonner got into an argument on the court, chirping at each other and even exchanging a few shoves.
