Kutcher gave some insight into the beginnings of his friendship with Diddy, 54. According to the actor, it all started when the rapper became aware of Kutcher’s MTV show.
“Our relationship is really bizarre,” Kutcher explained. “It started from scratch. punk because he was like, “Yo, you can’t be kidding me!” I was like, “I don’t know what to tell you, everyone’s on the table.” That’s how our conversation started. We quickly became friends and just hung out and watched football.”
Premiere in 2003, punk was a reality show in which Kutcher helped pull off elaborate pranks on Hollywood’s biggest stars. The series ran until May 2007.

“Halfway through, he said, ‘Hey, I’m running out of steam,'” Kutcher recalled. “But we were surrounded by paparazzi at the time. He said, ‘You need to slow down, but pretend you’re not slowing down, because I don’t want to give the impression that I can’t finish this thing.’ He was completely freaked out.”
After the finish line, Kutcher said Diddy was “so upset that he couldn’t keep up with him in that race.” The music mogul then decided to start training for the New York Marathon.
“He just can’t lose,” Kutcher said. “Even when he’s so close to being humble, he becomes a driver, and then he ran the New York Marathon.”
It’s unclear where Kutcher and Diddy’s friendship stands today, but the rapper is currently in the midst of a legal scandal after being accused of sex trafficking and organized crime.
The 14-page indictment accuses Diddy of abusing, threatening and coercing women and others around him to “fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and cover up his conduct.” In addition, the indictment alleges that Diddy staged so-called “freak offs” or “elaborate and staged sex performances.”
