Popular restaurant in Portland among the best seafood restaurants in the USA

There are many reasons why people come to Maine every year. Some like the slower pace of life. For others, it’s the coast and beaches that draw them back time and time again. But one of the main reasons people keep coming back is the food at Vacationland. In particular, the fresh seafood, which makes it almost impossible to determine the best seafood restaurant in the state.

There are incredible restaurants along the coast that work hand in hand with local fishermen to bring the best and freshest produce to the table.

Still, 24/7 Wall St didn’t let that stop them from naming America’s 50 best seafood restaurants. Their choice for Maine shouldn’t be a big surprise either. It’s one of Portland’s busiest spots: Eventide Oyster Co.

Eventide’s popularity is well known in Portland, with lines often forming around the building during peak season. Even though the restaurant is on the small side, people just can’t seem to get enough of it, and for good reason.

Eventide always offers a rotating selection of fresh, local Maine oysters. They also have other fresh seafood on ice, such as Maine crab claws. Other seafood favorites such as stews and chowders are on the menu for those who prefer their seafood as a soup.

But one of the stars of the show for Eventide was their version of a New England Lobster Roll. That would be their signature Brown Butter Lobster Roll, which draws people from all over the world.
