The Golden State Warrior did not start so well in Paris. His form from the pre-Olympic test matches continued in the first four games in which he scored points of 11, 3, 8 and 7.
Then, at the crucial moment, the Curry the NBA world knows finally came to life.
Curry sank nine three-pointers for 36 points in a 95-91 comeback semifinal win over Serbia before sinking eight three-pointers for 24 points against France, including four in a row down the stretch, to secure the gold medal.
