No. 7 Tennessee (4-0, 1-0 SEC) defeated No. 13 Oklahoma (3-1, 0-1 SEC) 25-15 at Memorial Stadium in Norman, Oklahoma during Week 4 of the 2024 college football season.
The Vols led 19-3 at halftime.
Nico Iamaleava completed 13 of 21 passes for 194 yards and a touchdown for Tennessee, ending the streak without a single offensive touchdown after 19 quarters.
Dylan Sampson was the Vols’ best runner, totaling 92 yards and a touchdown on 24 attempts.
Bru McCoy caught four passes for 92 yards, while Dont’e Thornton Jr. recorded two passes for 73 yards and a 66-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
Kicker Max Gilbert made three field goals for the Vols. Tennessee’s defense recorded a safety in the second quarter and Jermod McCoy recorded an interception for the Vols.
Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel won in his return to his alma mater.
