Today, high clouds came along with the sunshine, but overall the day remained dry. The clouds kept the temperatures a little lower, but the day was still pleasant and without summery humidity, as the dew points remained at 10 degrees.
Tonight will be pleasant again with lows around 10 degrees. Skies will gradually clear from partly cloudy to mostly clear. Hopefully the clear skies will allow for good views of the Perseid meteor shower, which will peak after midnight and last until sunrise.
On Monday, temperatures will be similar in the afternoon, but the day will become sunnier before clouds increase later. A quick, weakening disturbance could bring a few showers Tuesday morning, but it doesn’t look to be widespread or particularly conducive to precipitation. Skies will become partly clear Tuesday afternoon.
Mainly dry weather is expected until the middle of the week. Towards the end of the week, the next frontal system will reach the city area and bring widespread showers and thunderstorms on Friday and Saturday.
