Local Life: Greek Festival, Foodees Food and Culture Festival, Cayce Police’s Fiesta, Keep the Midlands Beautiful

Local Living on ABC Columbia presented by MUSC Health

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – Don’t miss Columbia’s annual Greek Festival next week in today’s look at Local Living.

The event features music, food, vendors and more.

The festival will take place from September 19 to 22 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral on Sumter Street.

The Foodees Food and Culture Festival is coming to Sumter next month.

The festival offers culinary delights, unique arts and crafts and family-friendly entertainment.

It will take place October 4-6 at the American Legion Fairgrounds.

Admission is free, but prior registration is required.

The Cayce Police Department is hosting a “fiesta” next weekend.

You can enjoy free food, music, crafts and more.

You will also have the opportunity to meet officers from the Cayce Police Department and other local law enforcement agencies.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 21st from 11am to 3pm at Granby Gardens Park.

Keep the Midlands Beautiful is looking for volunteers to help clean up litter at Lake Murray.

The Lake Murray Sweep begins on Saturday, September 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Material, T-shirts and prizes will be provided.
