KSL TV’s Kristen Van Dyke says Monday will be the last day of above-average temperatures for at least a week.
“There will be big changes in Utah this week. Showers and storms are expected on Monday,” she said.
SALT LAKE CITY – A cold front will move in Sunday morning, bringing a line of isolated storms to southwest Utah Monday morning.
The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City said the approaching storms could bring strong, gusty winds and a drop in temperatures during the work week.
Kristen Van Dyke of KSL Weather says smoke will increase on Sunday as temperatures will be in the 80s. “Monday will see showers and storms with highs in the 80s and then Tuesday will see highs in the 60s!”
A few storms have already formed over southwest Utah this morning, and we’ll see scattered showers and storms this afternoon. Any storms that form will have the potential to produce strong, gusty winds. That’s what the radar will look like based on one of our computer models. #utwx pic.twitter.com/8sat0eKOco
