In the main event of UFC 306 tonight, Sean O’Malley takes on Merab Dvalishvili in a highly anticipated bantamweight title fight.
“Sugar Sean” O’Malley is defending his belt for the second time. He won it last August with a beautiful KO of Aljamain Sterling and defended it in March with a masterful performance against Marlon Vera.
The American star, however, faces a tough test in Las Vegas, as he will face a challenger who has already won ten fights in a row. Georgian Dvalishvili enters the Sphere after three consecutive victories against former champions: Henry Cejudo, Petr Yan and Jose Aldo.
And in the co-main event of UFC 306, Alexa Grasso defends her flyweight title against division icon Valentina Shevchenko in a long-awaited trilogy fight. Grasso defeated Shevchenko in a surprise result in 2022 before the pair fought in a controversial draw in 2023.
