Pro Football Hall of Fame member and current ESPN star Shannon Sharpe came clean on Wednesday night via a livestream posted to his social media account.
The live stream appeared to show Sharpe having sex with a woman. The video didn’t show anything special. However, a woman could be heard in the background.

Sharpe initially claimed to have been hacked, but later spoke in detail about the events when he hosted his podcast “Nightcap” with fellow NFL player Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson.
“Of course I’m embarrassed. I’m embarrassed for a number of reasons when someone whose private life is very, very private makes one of their most intimate details – the audio recording – available to the whole world,” Sharpe explained.
“A lot of people rely on Shannon to always conduct herself professionally, and I try to always conduct myself professionally, even when I’m behind closed doors. I try to stay that way. But I stay at a professional level, even when I’m in the privacy of my own home.

“I’m very disappointed in myself, not in the act. I think there are millions and billions of people of consenting age who participate in such activities, but when you hear your most intimate details on an audio recording, I’m disappointed in myself. I’ve disappointed a lot of people.”
Sharpe said he didn’t know how to use Instagram Live and couldn’t understand why people he hadn’t spoken to on FaceTime were trying to reach him on FaceTime. He said a member of his marketing team was eventually able to reach him, and he eventually ended the video.
Even Johnson said he was shocked by what happened.
Sharpe tried to lighten the awkward situation with an advertisement for a sexual enhancer.
The Super Bowl champion has more than 3.2 million followers on Instagram.
An adult entertainment company told TMZ Sports it would gladly offer him $100,000 “if he seeks a career change. …”
