8:00 Clock – “Previously on Big Brother!” In episode 25, the house reacted to Joseph being the last to be eliminated before the jury phase of the competition. The three people who voted for Kimo’s eviction – Angela, Cam, and Leo – were now outnumbered by the four people who voted for Joseph’s eviction – Chelsie, Makensy, Rubina, and T’kor. Later in the backyard, Chelsie won the HOH Before or After competition, her second such win this summer. Her target this week is Angela, but she’s also put Kimo on the hit list as a pawn. Will the Veto save Angela again? Let’s go!

20:04 – Chelsie explained that Angela is her target this week because she plays in the middle of two sides of the house and having her removed instead of someone else lets her have “a good standing” with everyone in the house. Chelsie noted that on the other side of the house is a trio of Kimo, T’Kor and Rubina, which explains why Kimo is on the block but doesn’t explain why she wouldn’t fully target that trio. After the nomination ceremony, Kimo reported to Rubina and T’Kor that he accepts Chelsie’s plan to use him as a pawn, but acknowledged that this week’s voters could see this as an opportunity to “break up the trio.”

20:06 – After an interaction with Angela that ended in a hug, Makensy checked in with the HOH room where Cam, Chelsie, and Quinn were, and the group discussed their fear that Leah would win the Veto and bring down Angela again. Chelsie’s side of the situation suggested to Quinn that Chelsie might consider Leah, a close ally and friend of his, as a replacement nomination. When Quinn brought this information to Leah, she was unsettled, but Leah committed to not using it on Angela, since the only reason she did that last week was to get Angela on the jury so she could vote for Leah at the end of the game.

20:10 – Makensy and Quinn both had their eyes on a chance to play for the Veto because they could win and protect their side of five, but they also think Angela is a player they should leave in the game at this point. They discussed the possibility of taking Angela off the block and forcing Chelsie to nominate someone else so she doesn’t get through the week clean and they can use her numbers to take out Kimo instead of Angela. Later, Makensy unabashedly told Chelsie what she and Quinn discussed, and it surprised Chelsie. She said there’s a reason for sending Kimo home this week, and that ultimately they both have to go, it’s “only a matter of time” anyway.

20:18 – When selecting players for the Veto Contest, Chelsie, Kimo and Angela were each allowed to choose one chip. Chelsie chose Quinn, Angela chose Makensy and Kimo chose Rubina. As luck would have it, these six players were allowed to participate in the legendary “OTEV” Contest this week and compete for the chance to remove someone from the block.

20:25 – For this season’s OTEV competition, players received orders from a “trash-talking trash panda” who required them to collect trash for him to munch on in a series of rounds, with anyone with an incorrect or slowest answer being eliminated. For the first question, the panda required them to return with the name of an eliminated player who was not allowed to participate in the “New Rule” HOH competition during the first week. Angela returned first with Tucker’s name. Makensy returned next. Third was Rubina with Tucker’s name, and fourth was Quinn with Tucker’s name.

20:36 – Eventually, Kimo found Tucker’s chip and got up the ramp faster than Chelsie, effectively eliminating her from the competition. But as it turns out, Tucker was a wrong answer. Since Makensy brought back the correct answer, Cedric, everyone but her was eliminated from the competition and she automatically won the Veto in just one round. Everyone except Makensy forgot that Makensy and Tucker were both participating in a social round of the competition and Cedric and Chelsie were not.

20:45 – One night after the Veto Contest, when she couldn’t sleep, Angela noticed that “people were missing,” so she tiptoed through the house to eavesdrop on the conversations at the doors, only to find that everyone was outside in the newly opened backyard, just hanging out. However, when she got to the backyard, she noticed that all conversations had stopped and the people present there (Quinn, T’Kor, Rubina, Leah, and Kimo) must have formed an alliance to vote her out and keep Kimo in the house. The next morning, she immediately went to Chelsie with her paranoid findings about the new five and how the rest of them were left out.

20:49 – Chelsie understood that Angela tends to misrepresent things she sees, but she also thought it made sense because Quinn has a history of switching between alliances. Chelsie later went to Makensy and they discussed the possibility that what Angela saw or heard could be wrong, but also the likelihood that Quinn could easily betray both of them and Cam “with Leah in her pocket.” They decided that the reality of the alliance “doesn’t really matter” because Quinn is dangerously in the thick of the game and they have the power right now to “turn this thing on its head” and “set up a much bigger target than Angela.”
