Pro Football Hall of Famer Becomes Sports Media Personality Shannon Sharpe broke his silence after his Instagram account posted audio of an apparent sexual encounter on Wednesday (September 11).
“Beware, my Instagram @ShannonSharpe84 was hacked this morning. My team and I are working hard to figure this out. – UNC,” Sharpe wrote in a post shared to his Instagram story.
The Instagram Live video appears to have been recorded with the phone lying face down on a table. In the background, a woman can be heard panting while obvious sexual acts take place. A man can be heard saying, “Let me put this cock in you,” “You know what I like,” and “This is my Michelle,” in a voice similar to Sharpe’s.
The woman appears to refer to the man as “Shannon” during the encounter. Sharpe, 56, joined ESPN‘s debate show First attempt last year after leaving FS1‘S UndisputedThe former tight end is also the host of the podcasts Club Shay Shay And Nightcap to another NFL legend Chad Ochocinco-Johnson.
Sharpe was a three-time Super Bowl champion – twice with the Denver Broncos and once with the Baltimore Ravens – a four-time All-Pro first team selection, a one-time All-Pro second team selection, an eight-time Pro Bowler, and was selected to the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team during his Hall of Fame career.
